This was taken while camping. The great thing about photographing fire is that no two images are ever the same. This one highlights that by capturing the fire dancing off of the end of the log.
About Edward Hawkins II
Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, I had the pleasure of being surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I started out doing moderate trick photography with my aunt's new 35mm camera when I was about 10 years old. I shot with 35mm film, both color and black and white photography, through my time in high school and my first few years in the Navy. Joining the Navy offered me more opportunities to expand my photograph and enter into a new arena, digital photography. I bough my first digital camera as a return item in Hawaii and spent the next three months learning how to shoot with it.
